Random Mom Thought #44

With all the insanity, tantrums, crying, thrown food, poopy diapers and sleepless nights it can be overwhelming.

…but sometimes when my son wakes up from a nightmare and tears are streaming down his face, I just hold him as tight as possible and fall so much more madly in love as he falls asleep in my arms, gripping my shirt so I would keep holding him and not put him back down quite yet…


Random Mom Thought #43

I did the math today and realized that if I wanted to have my second child when my son was around two years old, I would have to get pregnant within the next few months.

When I mentioned it to my husband… We looked at each other for a silent moment contemplating.

… Then we laughed and laughed, and laughed some more. And then simultaneously said “well that’s not happening…”
